📍 Yukon Territory, Canada | 🗓️ May 14, 2025 🧾 Category: Cryptid

Deep in Canada’s northern wilderness, something is screaming—and it’s not a wolf. ❄️👣

Over the past few weeks, hunters, trappers, and backcountry guides in the Yukon Territory have reported unsettling howls echoing through the forests. Described as low, resonant, and unnervingly human, the cries are often heard in the dead of night, reverberating across frozen valleys like something out of a myth.

“It wasn’t a wolf,” said one local who requested anonymity. “It sounded like it wanted us to know we weren’t alone.”

Several sets of large, barefoot tracks—measuring up to 17 inches in length—have also been documented near remote trapping cabins. In one instance, a series of prints led down a snowy riverbank, then vanished as if the creature leapt or disappeared entirely.

Locals have dubbed the entity the “Yukon Howler”—a potential Ice Age relic or off-grid cousin of Bigfoot. Some theorize it may be tied to indigenous legends of the Bushman, a wildman said to stalk the taiga with territorial aggression and near-supernatural stealth.

No photos have surfaced, but audio recordings of the howls are said to be in private circulation among bush pilots and rangers. Independent researchers from British Columbia have reportedly entered the region to investigate further.

🥶 Cold Brew Warning: When the woods scream back, it might be time to cut your hike short—and leave the snow undisturbed.
